With the growing popularity of golf, more and more resorts in Los Cabos were developing championship golf courses designed by leading golf architects including Nicklaus, Fazio, Norman, Weiskopf, Michelson, Love and Woods. Many of these courses were on par with top 100 courses in the world. The problem was, no one knew about them. Tasked with the assignment to brand Los Cabos as a major golf destination, we developed the Los Cabos Golf Association, a consortium of the courses in the area positioning Los Cabos as “Mexico’s Golf Coast”. A print campaign in key golfing publications as well as cross promotions with thousands of dollars in added value. A separate website allowed the association to showcase the courses allowing golfers to book tee times directly from the site. The results were immediate and dramatic putting Los Cabos on the bucket list of golfers everywhere looking for the ultimate golf experience.
